Label receives exclusive Recording Rights and Publishing Rights for the agreed term, of which a share of the royalties shall be paid to the artist as outlined below. Artist also retains his Recording Rights & Publishing Rights.
LABEL: Cosmic Music Records
CONTRACT: EXCLUSIVE, DIGITAL, COMPILATIONS AND RINGTONES
TERRITORY: THE WORLD
TERM: 3 YEARS (RENEWABLE)
ROYALTY: 50% OF NET RECEIPTS (AFTER SHOPS DEDUCTIONS AND TAXES)
THIRD PARTY: 30% OF NET INCOME LESS TAXES
RECORD SHOPS DIGITAL: All Digital Shops where we handle distribution including
BeatPort, Juno, TrackItDown, DJTunes, iTunes, etc.
PAYMENT: Every 6 months. 90 days after every semester ends and stores reports.
Statements are quarterly. Payment through PayPal.
PARTS FOR REMIX: You agree to deliver to the label all parts, audio samples, and midi
sequences sufficient to comprise the tracks for REMIXING purposes for a follow up
REMIX E.P IF ANY. Remix artists (if any additional) will receive 30% of total sales for that
particular track.
BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT:
- Franchisor minimum amount equivalent to 50 (fifty) dollars for each release of the Franchisor. If at the end of the term of this Agreement, the amount in the account Franchisor be less than the equivalent of 50 (fifty U.S. dollars) for each release of Franchisor, it is held for the benefit of a label from work to prepare the release.
- You authorize Cosmic Music Records to use freely the Mastering
Recording or a part of it as well as the artist’s name and approved photographs for
advertising and promotional purposes relating to the above agreement.
- You warrant that you have the right to enter into this agreement and that you allow
Cosmic Music Records to license the Master Recording to a third
party, and you guarantee that the Licensee’s use of the master recording shall NOT
violate the rights of any third party. You warrant Cosmic Music Records against any claims in this respect.
- You warranty you OWN all the copyrights of all your tracks signed in this agreement
and release the label for any misuse of other UNAUTHORIZED samples.
